Workshop for mothers

A fruitful workshop for the mothers of KG students was conducted on 6 th July, 2019 Dr.Neha Shah, Director and Chief Surgeon, was the chief guest, inaugurated the function by lighting ‘KuthuVilaku’. In the chief guest address, she created awareness among the mothers on various topics like childhood obesity, hazards of electronic devices and overall wellness of children. Dr. Selvaraj, Ex-Principal of Guru Nanak College, was the guest of honour and spoke about the values of togetherness. The teachers discussed the significance of rhymes, story telling, language learning, handwriting, celebration, competition, value of colouring and effects of school Assembly. The teachers took the mothers to the world of fantasy by narrating story and singing rhymes. The entire place was fun-filled when the mothers participated in singing rhymes and narrating stories.

The tiny talents of Guru Nanak dazzled the audience with their mesmerizing performances. The workshop was concluded with the games and the mothers were delighted when they won prizes.
