Admission Procedure

Applications for admission should be made in the prescribed form available in the school office on paying Rs. 250/- with a registration fee of Rs.250/-. The last date for registration will be notified in the school notice board. Students will be interviewed by the principal before admission.

Students are admitted at five levels. Viz Pre.Kg, LKG, I, VI and XI standard. Admission to other classes is possible only  on merit. Admissions are based on the entrance examination conducted by the school. Merit is given priority. The following conditions laid down by the government are strictly followed in respect of pupils seeking admission in the school.

i. Admission to Pre-KG : Children must have completed 2 years as on 31st July Birth and Community certificates should be produced (Xerox Copy)

ii. Admission to LKG: Children must have completed 3 years of age as on 31st July Birth and Community certificates should be produced (Xerox Copy)

iii. Admission to Standard I: Children must have completed 5 years of age as on 31st July Xerox Copies of Birth and Community certificates should be produced. They should pass the preliminary entrance test conducted by the school. If coming from another school, original transfer certificate should be produced at the time of admission.

Note : If community certificate is not produced the child’s community will be considered to be “OC” and only this will be recorded in the transfer certificate issued by the school.

iv. Admission to Standard VI: Children must have completed 10 years of age as on 31st July and must have passed the preliminary entrance test conducted by school. In addition, the pupil should produce a transfer certificate from his/her previous school for having completed standard V.

V. Admission to STD XI :

1. Student must have passed the X standard government examination or equivalent examination.

2. Student should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in all the subjects.

3. Should produce at the time of admission, the original transfer certificate, conduct certificate and mark list / sheet (Or equivalent certificate) along with the prescribed application form.

4. It is  essential for pupils from other states / CBSE / ICSE for standards IX, X, XI and XII to obtain evaluation of the transfer certificates by the Inspector of matriculation schools. Necessary application form should be obtained from the school and submitted to the principal for further action.

Note : The original certificate mentioned above (other than Tenth Mark Sheet) will not be returned. Pupils Seeking admission to higher class are advised to take sufficient number of copies of Tenth Mark sheet before handing them over to the school office, since they will not be returned till they complete the course / leave the school.

 

Right to Education Act:

According to the G.O received from the Education Department that the free education to the students joining in the entry level class is compulsory as per the  Right to Education Act for the year 2013-2014. 

Our  school has given admission to the students in the entry level i.e., in LKG for 15 students 2013-2014,29 students 2014-2015 and 10 students 2015-2016.
